THE TONGUE
I wonder, What is the ‘meekness of wisdom’?
It certainly isn’t ‘weak’;
We can ‘train’ all manner of His creation...
that have no ability to speak.
God speaks of ‘the tongue’ that can set on fire...
the course of many nations;
Usually ‘teachers’ use this to condemn...
But, herein is Revelation:
With this tongue that’s been formed to articulate...
the things that our spirits know;
Is saying, our spirit is strong enough...
to use this tongue to let His waters flow.
His Truth becomes our ‘extinguisher’, of greater ability...
and our tongue will respond to what has been stored...
to burn-up less than ‘that’ unity.
The first unity being, the bowing of my knee;
Rather than condemnation that produced in me...
a strength of ‘self’ by abstinence;
To be sure, ‘that’ produces religiousness...
that puffs you up and has no power...
that you’re going to need for these final hours.
We know what this fruit is suppose to look like;
So, we work long and hard...right into the night
and wear ourselves out, trying to ‘rake up’ ...
the rotten fruit we’ve produced that is filling our cup.
Quoting God’s Word, with no ‘solutions’...
allows your tongue to start revolutions;
But, this can be turned to productivity...
by Jesus, Himself, who has paid that ‘fee’...
and by His Spirit, taken up residency.
Your tongue will have water, of the purest kind,
to put out all fires, kindled for mankind...
But, not in self-effort, religiously;
It’s with the power of Him on the inside of me...
Who reminds me: Together, We can take this land!
And, as He waters my spirit, floods begin to expand...
to the places that need His hydrating...
EXCEEDING ABUNDANTLY ANTICIPATING!!!
