MOTIVES
I’ve heard it said often: It’s the motive of the heart...
that God evaluates in you;
Eventually, motives have to have actions...
to do what you know to be true.
It’s true; understanding should motivate you;
Motive, without direction has power to kill too.
There’s no way around the simplicity of this...
regardless of how profound;
If you are not doing what Jesus said,
The Liar still has you bound.
This isn’t about, trying to earn merit;
His Cross took care of that;
It’s about, freedom to prove what His payment did;
It’s about turning faith into fact.
“I’ve tried and I’ve failed; But, my motive is right.”
No! You just understood; It’s now time to fight!
In the past you have fought, but you always relied:
“If I don’t make it, I’m still justified.”
That gave you an ‘edge’ that you can’t afford;
That’s mis-use of ‘grace’, with directives ignored.
Your ‘motives’ then become justifications...
to do this ‘another way’,
and the heart that He sees, in the light of His Truth,
exposes a more dangerous decay.
Yet, rejoice in His Light; This has been revealed...
so the subtlety of The Liar is not able to steal...
The Treasures buried in your gift-righteous heart;
Move on your completion; You just need to start...
to bring into ‘being’ , so I can prove to you:
THERE ARE MANY THINGS WAITING
FOR US TO DO!!!!
