LUKE: CHAPTER THIRTEEN

Even whom Jesus called hypocrites,

   knew that God would heal;

Their want for control,

   tried to limit The Sabbath,

with religious, legalistic appeal.

God, Himself, before Jesus payment,

   made provision for His mankind...

to break that control and expose His Heart;

   Then, He put on our flesh, so we’d find...

a way of life, abundantly,

   to re-instated the wholeness of me.

And, not only that, He recorded the event...

   in Luke Thirteen, so that He could prevent

anything less than wholeness so we...

   could live that same life of victory.

Have you ever looked decay in the face

   and exposed it’s root of deceit? 

There’s bullets in your gun from the Holy One...

   that will expose that thief...

that has his purpose to steal and destroy,

   BUT, God’s purpose for you

is that you will enjoy...

   life, and that more abundantly,

God’s purpose for you is so that you will know...

   His Love that’s been fashioned to see.

He knew that would draw you close to His Heart;

   exactly where He wants you to be;

He knew His provision would keep you there...

   ecstatic and totally free. 

Imagine! A life where there are no cares...

   because of the great care of Him!

Do you think that’s the message He wants us to see...

   rather than the legalism that’s bound you and me?

A heart that responds in gratitude,

   with that provision, will refuse to be used;

It’s only response is: “How can I please...

   The One that has loved and completely relieved...

every diabolical scheme...

   that believing that Liar has caused to be seen?” 

Well, from what I just read in Luke Thirteen... 

   The Heart of my God can be clearly seen;

Too good to be true? I don’t think so;

   This is The Father He wants us to know.

In deed, this is the dominion of Him;

   This is His Kingdom that’s dwelling within;

In The Great Light of this, can anything be wrong?

   In that Great confident Light...
