Totally His?
Faith is just what He says it is;
Brings into existence what’s asked for;
Then, what is the hold-up? I haven’t observed
any packages outside my door.
Are you asking for ‘things’?
He said those would be a
such as food and clothes for your care;
the way a Father takes care of a child
and the child’s usually unaware...
as well as, most of the time, ungrateful;
Is this describing you?
Have you been careful to hear what He says
and do what He tells you to?
In seeking first, The King
and His Kingdom,
you will know that you are an heir;
When it’s time for you to sit on a throne,
you will reign with The King’s kind of care
You will know what to ask
for the good of mankind;
You will rule and reign
with His kind of mind.
Do you think you qualify
as a ‘sitting king’?
Do you think you are ready yet?
You say, What’s the hold-up,
and challenge His wisdom;
The hold-up is you, I suspect;
The question that keeps coming to my mind:
How important is this to me to find
or have I decided to just simply exist?
Inheritance dies; Faith cannot assist!
Then, the thing that I’m ‘working’
to try to attain,
becomes just working; It’s companion is pain.
I realized, then, I’m trapped in a system
that doesn’t want me to be
anything other than what you see now;
The throne abdicated by me.
When I cut my finger, blood has to flow;
It’s an automatic way;
When I turn and seek Him, faith has to flow;
Responding to what He has to say
He says, I will evidence what I have hoped for;
Now there’s a package outside my door.
I got up this morning, not feeling so well;
That was a package straight from Hell;
After sitting with Jesus and writing His thoughts,
I was then ready to tell
the messenger that brought that to me
that I wouldn’t sign for his C.O.D.
He’ll have to stamp it: Return to sender;
Automatically, faith became my defender.
A definite experience of how faith ‘works’;
‘Laboring’ to enter His rest;
First, I seek Him; Hear all that He says;
Responding, faith flows from His breast.
That’s how it works; Nursed to grow
to a ‘sitting king’; Uninterrupted flow...
that will accomplish every word that He says;
These experiences will make me:
Totally His.
